The coming year looks set to be another eventful year for Siv, with exciting plans that include Mount Everest from the north side, leading a group on the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu, and as expedition leader on a 3,000 km long expedition to the South Pole at the beginning of November.
It is not just Siv's adventures that fascinate, but also her ability to inspire and motivate. With a strong motto, "you can achieve anything you want, if you are willing to work for it", Siv Harstad has used his own life as proof of this philosophy. She ended her career as a manager to follow her dreams. With hard work, she has managed to become the first Norwegian woman to climb Mt. Everest from the Nepal side, and the tenth Norwegian to climb the 7 Summits (the highest mountain on all 7 continents).
