5 smart ways you can organize your warehouse
It's always time to get a little more order in life.
People categorize and organize things very differently. What most people have in common is that we store things we do not always need in what often becomes a kind of 'rotating room'. Whether it is a specific room in the apartment or parts of the garage, things get in the way and it picks up to clutter that can cause headaches.
Then there is no doubt that an external warehouse will benefit, but it will not be long before this also becomes an extension of the rotating room at home. It is easy to forget what you have put away and what is in which box or bag.

We know, as I said, that people like to categorize in different ways according to personal needs, and we have therefore compiled a list of how to organize your shed or just your own mess if you still store this in the home or garage.
Below are four different ways you can organize your rotating room or warehouse, or just your things, to get your life in order.
1. Seasonal
If you are an equipment fanatic or just very fond of being out in nature like many Norwegians, it is smart to organize things according to season and activity. The need for different sports equipment and clothing changes based on season and season.
Here you can divide into as many categories as you want. It is smart to collect what you use in the winter, such as ski equipment, winter clothes and toboggans, what you use in the summer such as swimming equipment, lighter outdoor clothing and life jackets for the boat.
It can also pay to organize according to activities and trips you do at different times of the year, and simply package after camping trip, ski holiday, south trip and city holiday.

2. Applications
The most common and perhaps most intuitive way to organize the warehouse is according to what it is used for. Kitchen utensils in one box, outdoor clothing in another and another one for Christmas decorations. Nevertheless, there are some things that have several uses, and there can quickly be many boxes or bags with different themes.
Then it's good to be extra diligent in marking to know what you have placed where. Or you can upload everything in our inventory list in the app where you can have a full overview of what you have where with photos.
If you want to do a clean-up at home, it is a good idea to collect things in this way. When you actually see how much footwear, how many rain jackets or how many unused picture frames you have, it's easier to get rid of. No one wants to be a collector, but there are many out there who could be categorized as one!
Room by room
Are you in the middle of the moving process or storing furniture and furniture in a warehouse while you renovate? Use the moving boxes smartly and pack your things according to which room they belong to. By organizing things by room, you can incredibly easily get it back as room by room is finished in the renovation or relocation.
Another advantage of organizing by room is that you often remember what you have had in which room and therefore have a better idea of what you have stored. There, the inventory list in the Flexistore app can be useful, and help you have a full overview.
4. Recycle according to what you want to sell, give away and keep
Whatever the reason why you clean or unpack things, our best tip is to sort by recycling. Pack things according to what you want to sell on, what you want to give away to Fretex or someone who needs it more and what you want to keep a little more.
A good rule of thumb is that if you have not thought about the garment or furniture for over two months, then it is time to pass on.
Find storage boxes and mark them according to what you want to keep, what you want to give away, what you can 're-marry', what can be thrown away and recycled, and what you can sell. You can always try to post things you want to sell Find and keep it in your booth until it is sold. If it is not sold within a month, it is probably okay to give it away instead.

5. Family member
If you are a family where everyone has a little of everything that should be stored away for periods, it is smart to give each family member their own boxes where everyone can put the things they want to store. It can also give a clue as to who in the family most strongly needs to get rid of some things.
